We conduct research in a wide variety of topics including populations at disequilibrium with their environment, disease ecology, and quantitative conservation planning. We work on topics that inspire us and spark our scientific curiosity.
Where?
Our lab group conducts research in a variety of sites across the world including Florida, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Argentina. Some members even conduct studies at global scales.
How?
Quantitative modeling is our tool of choice because it allows us to synthesize complex processes into a manageable number of variables and relations.
